FAQs
Where are your products made?
Everything is made to order in our workshop in Prince Edward County, Ontario. The majority of our materials are made domestically as well- we use only Canadian aluminum and American-made powder coating products.
How do I order?
Please send us an email or fill out our contact form with as many details about your project as you can provide. We will put together a quote for approval. When we get your go-ahead, we take a 50% material deposit upfront and put you in our work queue, however we require a full payment for out of town projects.
What’s the turnaround time?
It varies depending on the season and scope of the job- allow for a minimum of 8- 12 weeks turnaround. We recommend getting in touch as early as you can, as we do not begin manufacturing without the material deposit. Please note that some orders will have an extended turnaround time during winter months.
Do you take rush orders?
We don’t accept rush orders or charge rush fees. All of our projects are time sensitive and we prioritize our queue by when we receive deposits, in order to be fair to everyone.
What kind of art files do I need to provide?
From the start, we recommend working with a graphic designer who can provide you with vectorized artwork. We do, on occasion, work with incomplete logo files (like Canva), but these will incur a design fee. We can review your artwork at no cost.
Do you offer design services?
While Production Design (i.e. optimizing files for fabrication) is included, all other design work will be billed additionally. We recommend working with a Graphic Designer on branding and graphics.
Do you do site visits?
Yes- we do site visits, if required, after a commitment and material deposit have been made. If a site visit or consultation is necessary prior to deposit, it will be billed separately, regardless of commitment.
Do you install?
We primarily install in the Prince Edward County/ Quinte region, though other parts of Ontario can be arranged.
Please be advised that we cannot commit to outdoor installs between December and April, as many of our adhesives and aggregates won’t cure in subzero temperatures. If you’re looking for something to be installed around that time frame, please get in touch well in advance.
Can we visit your workshop?
Our workshop is not open to the public. Insurance prohibits us from having visitors.
Do you make printed signs or vinyl decals?
No, we specialize in powder coated metal signs and hand painted windows.
Signage Care
While your powder coated sign should endure weather conditions, you may need to clean it occasionally. We recommend using a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Any cleansers with solvents should be strongly avoided, as it can affect the integrity of the coating.
